Yankee Stadium is one of the top places - I love playing here. The fans are crazy and they get all over you. I really enjoy it. When they rag you they have some good rags. They throw numbers at you, they do their research. They are great fans. I remember my first full season when we came here, I was struggling a little bit. I was like 1-4 and my ERA was 5 or 6 and some guy started yelling "you're going to be an 8 before you got out of here tonight." They really know their stuff. I had one incident here. I was warming up and this one guy was going crazy at me and a lot of it cracked me up. I just couldn't show it. When I finished with my warmup I flipped him the ball and he yelled "you're alright Lackey!" They can be hard on you but they can go the other way too. There have been several times I just had to laugh at some of the things they were saying, whether it was directed at me or my teammates. They are on you from the start. In batting practice they want you to throw every ball in the stands when you go over to pick it up. If you don't throw it up there they start killing you and they stay on you the rest of the night. I like the exchange with the fans and Yankee fans are the best at it. It's a great place.
